What our customers say
Rosie has always been a nightmare on the lead. Border Collies are supposed to be the easiest to train but nobody told her that. She'd pull the entire walk, off in every direction. I used this for the first time last Tuesday and honestly couldn't believe it. She still wants to sniff everything but the pulling is so much more manageable.
I bought the Paropet No pull dog harness in small and I can safely say, it's the best harness that I have found. I took my young Maltipoo for a walk today & used the harness & lead for the first time. It was brilliant! She didn't pull once on the whole of the walk. It was a thoroughly enjoyable walk.
I got a Vizsla 2 years ago not knowing how hard they tug! (see pic) We haven't got him trained professionally but this has been incredible for us. It has been used the last six weeks and it’s working great. Very easy to put on and the clips seem very well made.
No Wrestling Match. No Overhead Battle.
Step your dog in. Click the buckles. Done.

Tips for use
Tips for use
Two Modes. One Harness.
Front clip for control. Back clip for freedom. Switch in seconds.
Mode 1 — Training Mode (Front Clip)
Clip the lead to the front D-ring on the chest. When your dog pulls, their body redirects sideways — breaking the forward drive. Use this for training walks, busy pavements, and anywhere your dog gets excited.
Mode 2 — Adventure Mode (Back Clip)
Clip the lead to the back D-ring. Full freedom of movement for relaxed walks, hikes, and off-peak outings once your dog walks well on a loose lead.
When to switch: Start every dog on Training Mode. Once they're walking calmly beside you (most dogs adjust within 1-3 walks), try Adventure Mode on quieter routes. If they start pulling again, switch back. No tools, no fuss — just move the clip.
Common Questions
Will this actually stop my dog pulling?
Will this actually stop my dog pulling?
The front-clip design redirects your dog's pulling force sideways instead of letting them drive forward. Most owners notice a significant difference on the first walk. It won't eliminate pulling overnight - no harness can - but it makes every walk more manageable and gives you a foundation for building better habits.
My dog is a strong puller. Will this hold?
My dog is a strong puller. Will this hold?
Yes. Reinforced stitching, metal D-rings, and secure buckles are built for dogs that pull hard. The front-clip redirection means you're working with physics, not fighting against your dog's strength. Owners of Labradors, Staffies, German Shepherds, and other strong breeds use this daily.
What if it doesn't fit my dog?
What if it doesn't fit my dog?
Measure your dog's chest at the widest point (just behind the front legs) and check our sizing chart. If you're between sizes, go up. Four adjustable straps let you dial in a precise fit. If the size is wrong, return it within 40 days for a free exchange or full refund.
What can I put on my custom patch?
What can I put on my custom patch?
You can personalise your patch with your dog's name, your contact number, or a label like "Service Dog," "In Training," "Nervous," "Friendly," or "Do Not Pet." Just add your text at checkout and we'll take care of the rest.
Will it rub or chafe?
Will it rub or chafe?
The ParoPet Harness has been designed with premium chafe resistant webbing. That's not just buzzwords, that's actual thoughtful, tested material selection. Unlike the cheap amazon alternatives, there is no rubbing under the armpits and no pressure on the throat.
My dog hates having things put over their head. Is this easy to put on?
My dog hates having things put over their head. Is this easy to put on?
The ParoPet Harness is much comfier for your dog than a collar or a cheap amazon alternative. Most dogs accept it within 1-2 uses. If your dog is gear-shy, try leaving it near their bed with treats on it for a day before the first walk.
What's the difference between the front clip and back clip?
What's the difference between the front clip and back clip?
Front clip = Training Mode. Use this when your dog pulls, during training, or in busy areas. It redirects their momentum sideways.
Back clip = Adventure Mode. Use this for relaxed walks, off-peak times, or once your dog walks well on a loose lead. Both D-rings are included on every harness.
Do I still need to train my dog?
Do I still need to train my dog?
The harness is a tool, not a replacement for training. What it does is make training possible in real life - fewer chaotic lunges, fewer injuries, more opportunities to reward good walking. Think of it as the thing that gives you breathing room to actually work on behaviour.
